WTBQ Radio is celebrating 50 years on the air and this year also marks the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival held in 1969 in Bethel, NY. To mark these anniversaries and to raise money for the Warwick Valley Humane Society, which is planning the construction of a new animal shelter, WTBQ will sponsor the “WOOF” Stock music event on Sat., Jun. 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Warwick Town Park, located at 117 Union Corners Rd. in Warwick.
The event will feature live music all day with bands, duos and DJ Shark and eight of the finest food trucks in the County, along with beverages from the Glenmere Brewing to wash it all down. There will be fun for the adults and kids, a psychic, face painting, balloon art, great raffle items and a 50/50, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the WVHS. The cost is $10 per person.
