The Warwick Historical Society (WHS) will sponsor their annual Tavern Night on Sun., Mar. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Trattoria Viviano, located at 100 Main St. in Warwick. Beer, wine and Viviano’s delicious pizzetti’s will be served.
Trattoria Viviano is located in an 1817 historic building that was built by Joseph Roe and then sold to John McKee, a hatter. The building is in the Federal style and while it has gone through various modifications, it still retains interesting detailing. Chef Vito Viviano, a native of Italy, selects every ingredient for all his dishes and has a distinctive way of fusing genuine northern and southern Italian cuisine with Mediterranean flair.
Tickets are $45 for WHS members, and $55 for non-members and at the door, if space is still available. This event sells out fast! To make a reservation call 986-3236, ext. 101.
