WARWICK — On Saturday, Feb. 9, members of the Warwick Valley Gardeners “shared the love” with residents of the Mount Alverno Assisted Living Center at their annual Valentine’s Day flower arranging activity.
Twenty four residents created a beautiful flower arrangement that they could keep or give as a gift.
Following the activity, the group enjoyed a time of singing, led by Mary Pohlman.
The Garden Therapy program is a state and national award-winning program that provides six sessions at Mount Alverno each year and also does a spring outreach to people receiving Meals on Wheels.
The club also funds and maintains nine gardens throughout the village and town.
