The mission of the Warwick Valley Farmers’ Market is to provide an economic marketplace for area producers to sell their crops, baked goods and other products. The Warwick market was established in 1993 making it one of the oldest markets in Orange County, NY. Consumers find the market to be a source of quality regionally grown produce and home-made food products as well as a center for agricultural information and other related activities that can educate and encourage participation in shopping and eating locally and seasonally. This, in turn, stimulates activity for the retail merchants and restaurants surrounding the market area, benefiting the entire community. More than 30 regional farms and farm kitchens stage their pop-up shops at the South Street Parking Lot in the Village of Warwick weekly on Sundays from May through the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day in November from 9am-2pm, providing the community with the freshest food products available. Non-profit organizations and guest vendors are welcome to set up shop by appointment, on rotation throughout the market season. The market is proudly sponsored by the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Warwick, NY.
