It’s optional but guests are invited to wear costumes when they join the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce for what may be the most “spooktacular” networking event of the season.
On Tuesday, Oct. 30, Pennings Farm Cidery, located at 4 Warwick Turnpike on the hill above Pennings Market, will be the site of an after-hours Halloween mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited to pack plenty of business cards and bring a camera.
“You won’t be disappointed,” said Event Committee Chair Janine Dethmers, “as you meet and greet some of the most vibrant business goblins and ghouls in the Warwick Valley.”
Guests will have an opportunity to relax around a spacious bar and spice things up with a specialty hard cider. A variety of gourmet hors d’oeuvres will also be served (cash bar available).
And attendees will be eligible to win raffles for great prizes.
Pennings Farm Cidery, which was born of the multi-generational Pennings family of farmers who established both Pennings Farm Market and Pennings Apple Orchard, offers a generous variety of nine hard ciders on tap in their Tap Room.
The Cidery offers a lineup of Pennings own crisp and creative hard ciders, featuring seasonal flavors throughout the year.
Cider is available in pints, flights and growlers-to-go; a rotating selection of New York made craft brews, some of which are produced with Pennings homegrown hops by local breweries. New York State Wines by the glass are also served.
Pennings Farm Cidery hours of operation are Friday 4-9 p.m., Saturday 12-9 p.m. and Sunday 12-8 p.m.
The Cidery is a 21 and over venue with the exception of children permitted in September and October for harvest season only. Children not permitted after 9 p.m.
Cost for the Oct. 30 mixer at Pennings Cidery is $10 for members of any local chamber and their guests and $20 for non-members.
