There’s a new modern laundry center in the Village of Warwick.
And it’s home to 42 sleek, high-tech washers and dryers.
The Continental equipment is one of the most efficient, environmentally friendly systems in the world. Its high-speed washing system extracts more water than traditional machines, saving time in the drying cycle.
And it also offers free WIFI and HD-TV.
On Wednesday, Aug. 1, Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Mayor Michael Sweeton and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners John and Lynn Peruso, their relatives and friends, to celebrate the official opening of their Express Laundry Center at 28 Forester Ave. in the Village of Warwick.
“This is green technology,” said John Peruso, a former developer and homebuilder. “The whole concept is to get a customer in and out, saving time and money. Our goal is to get a customer to do that in less than 60 minutes.”
Open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Forester Avenue Express Laundry Center is convenient to Burt Farms, Park Lane Apartments, Creekside, Liberty Green and Devon Woods.
Peruso points out that it’s also the closest laundromat, not only to the Village of Warwick, but also Greenwood Lake, and West Milford, Hewitt, Highland Lakes and Vernon communities in New Jersey.
Peruso is also proud of using Warwick area contractors to open his new business, including MB Contracting, Rand Electric, Van Duzer Mechanical, Architect Jerome Lupino, LOR-Sin HVAC and TD Bank.
The Express Laundry Center accepts credit and debit cards, cash and a unique APP for washing and drying.
