On Friday, Aug. 7, town, village and business representatives joined Walter Welsh and his wife Joanne Magro and their friends and associates for the grand opening of the all-new Eclectic Eye. Last May George Laurence sold his business, The Garage at the Eclectic Eye, 16-18 Railroad Ave., and while he went fishing in Florida, the new owners, Walter Welsh and his wife, Joanne Magro, who owned Second Hand Desire at the same location, performed renovations.

On Friday, Aug. 7, Town of Warwick Deputy Supervisor James Gerstner, Deputy Mayor Barry Cheney and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined the new owners, their friends and associates for the grand opening of the all-new Eclectic Eye.

‘Old world … a flare of modernism’

“For over 13 years The Eclectic Eye has been a destination for the discriminating customer,” said Joanne Magro. “The Eclectic Eye is now under new ownership and will continue to provide customers with an Old World touch and an extension of a flare of modernism. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a one time shopping experience.”
