It’s an important milestone for any business.
Warwick Valley Car Service, based in the hamlet of Bellvale, first opened its doors last April.
And on April 20, Mayor Michael Newhard, Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce President Doug Stage and Executive Director Michael Johndrow joined owners Michael and Linda Punch at the Chamber “Caboose” office to celebrate the first year anniversary of their business.
“I am proud to be able to celebrate Warwick Valley Car Service’s one year anniversary with the members of the Warwick Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Newhard,” said Punch. “My wife, Linda, and I set out one year ago to provide a car service that would offer the best rates in Orange County to our residents and deliver outstanding on time performance. We wanted to provide the Warwick community with the safest, most experienced drivers to ensure that customer expectations are met every single day on every single call.”
Michael and Linda Punch were not surprised by the company’s rapid success.
“We have a strong pre-plan prior to all our airport pickups,” said Punch. “We confirm pickup times with our customers the day before and pre-scout the pickup location as well so there are no obstacles in the way that would hinder our being on time. And prior to pickup, we check current traffic conditions and, if necessary, make adjustments to insure our customers arrive at their destination on time, every time.”
He reported that they have a consistent group of business clients and families who use the service regularly and who have also referred their friends and families.
“To earn a referral through satisfied clients,” said Punch, “provides me with a tremendous amount of pride as to what my wife and I have accomplished. Thank you to everyone in the Warwick area for using Warwick Valley Car Service. We look forward to expanding and providing impeccable service to our future clientele.”
