Attorney Deborah A. Young has more than 25 years of experience having worked with numerous firms, dealing with a variety of legal issues and serving for almost a decade as Deputy Attorney General for the New Jersey Division of Law.

Her firm, which offers legal services for small to mid-size businesses as well as individuals throughout New York and New Jersey, has just opened a new office at 3 Forester Ave. in Warwick, upstairs from Track 7 Postal Center.

On Tuesday, April 7, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Young along with some of her clients and friends to celebrate the grand opening of her new office with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

“It’s a wonderful feeling to be welcomed into such a tight community and to be among so many other businesses that have made their business home right here in the Warwick Valley,” she said. “I very much look forward to the networking opportunities that abound here as part of the Chamber of Commerce.”

Young’s services include: business start-up and formation; contract drafting, negotiation, and review; commercial leasing or closings; trademark registration/disputes; franchise development and purchases; business acquisitions and dissolutions; liquor licensing; food and agricultural compliance issues; banking law; non-compete/confidentiality agreements; employer-employee agreements/manuals; workplace harassment or discrimination issues; and much more.

“I hope that when people think about opening a business,” she said, “they think to call me for their start-up legal needs. I enjoy helping businesses to get off the ground with the right footing and watching them flourish.”

In addition to her work for businesses, Young also handles durable powers of attorney, medical powers of attorney, simple wills, and residential real estate closings.
