This year marks the 25th anniversary of Warwick Applefest, the annual fund raiser co-sponsored by the Warwick Valley Community Center and the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce. Over the past 25 years, Applefest has grown remarkably and now annually attracts 35,000 visitors. It has been voted “Best Food Event” and “Best Family & Arts Festival” by Times Herald-Record readers for the past three years and has been included in the “Top 100 Events in the Nation” by the American Bus Association. In addition to hundreds of craft and food vendors, music performances on several stages and a children’s carnival, more than 50 area not-for-profit organizations rely on Applefest as their most important fund raiser of the year. To help ensure the success of this event, festival organizers seek the support of sponsors. Organizers look forward to welcoming returning and new sponsors to the event’s “Sponsorship Row.”
The names of Applefest sponsors will be branded with various levels of recognition, including banners, print, TV and radio advertising prior to and during the festival. New this year is the opportunity for sponsors to take orders and sell items at their booths. This year’s sponsorship packet, posted on the Applefest web site, describes the opportunities and benefits of the different levels of sponsorship. For information about Applefest, and to download this year’s sponsorship brochure, go to www.warwickapplefest.com. Sponsorship levels fill up quickly. Space is limited, and the deadline for sponsorship confirmation is July 31. If interested in supporting Warwick Applefest 2013 through sponsorship, call Michael A.
