Warwick, NY—Business owners looking to capitalize on social media as a marketing and prospecting tool are invited to attend a special one-night-only event sponsored by Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and Warwick Valley Financial Advisors on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Warwick Grove Community Center.
The workshop, “Get Linked In Not Left Out: Practical Ways to Harness Social Media in Your Business,” will be presented by Washington, DC-based consultant Kip Gregory. Gregory is the author of Winning Clients in a Wired World and a frequent speaker to business audiences across North America.
During his 60-minute presentation, Gregory will share simple, inexpensive strategies small businesses can employ to find, connect with, and retain profitable customers and clients via social networking.
Topics Gregory will address include:
- · The real obstacle preventing businesses from adopting social media… and how to overcome it
- · Which site(s) you should be focused on
- · How to uncover sales opportunities in the day-to-day activities of your network
- · Ways to pinpoint prospects and establish a connection with them
- · Using social media to manage the referral process and get the introductions you want
Gregory will also take questions from the audience and highlight common mistakes small businesses make when using social networking—and how to avoid them.
